Hi, for anyone who is not aware, it appears that spikedluv passed away unexpectedly near the beginning of the month. The information is shared here on a comment on her last post, https://spikedluv.dreamwidth.org/2143159.html#comments, and has a link to her obituary.

spikedluv and I would often comment on each other's posts. I also had the honour of making art for multiple of her fics. She often bid on my offers for Fandom Trumps Hate and other fandom auctions. She was always such a pleasure to work with, and was always delighted by the graphics I created for her.

She loved Hudson & Rex and Murder She Wrote, among many other fandoms.

She will be missed.

Oh my god. I was just about to DM her to see if her mother had passed and that's why she had gone silent. I am gutted. Thank you for letting us know. She was one of my biggest supporters here. I will miss her terribly

I know, when I first heard about it it didn't commute. I was like "no, it's her mother that is in failing health, not her." So, this has been kind of hard to process.

We would often comment on each other's posts, and she was always so supportive of my art and graphics.

Wow, yeah. She'd been talking to me about the medical side of things with her mom. I really did think Mom had passed and was debating do I reach out or wait. This really is hard to process.

Damn. I don't think I ever interacted with her personally, but hers was one of those user names that I've seen around a lot over the years. I'm so sorry.

Thank you. She was always involved in things like the Snowflake Challenge, and she ran the Small Fandoms Big Bang as well, so thatès maybe where you see her.

I'm so sorry to hear this — she was a lovely presence here on Dreamwidth. She will indeed be missed.

This was such a shock to hear. I didn't know her very well, but she was a constant presence, a friendly face, and so very involved in the fandom world. It'll be weird without her.

It will be so strange no longer seeing her on my reading page or around dreamwidth. I really thought I'd be making art for her again for this upcoming Fandom Trumps Hate.
