Typos

Do you ever reread a fic you wrote, and posted, a long time ago, and now you see the typos! Ugh.

Oof! Yep. So embarassing.
The good this is that despite those typos people still like the fic and give you comments and kudos!

Yeah, the readers probably don't care all that much.

Only about a 100 times. It doesn't get better.

Always! Someone will comment on a really old fic, sometimes a very specific comment where I can't even remember what they are referencing so I'll re-read the chapter (or whole story if it's short) and I swear to you that every single time I will spot at least one more typo.

That is exactly what happened to me this morning, someone liked an older fic of mine, so I went back to reread it, and there it was, the freaking typo, sticking out like a sore thumb.

My habit now, if I reread something of mine, is to open the 'edit' in a separate tab, and as I read, if I find one, I ctrl-f then fix on the edit tab.
