2021 Book Bingo Card!
I present to you the 2021 Book Bingo card! Behold it in all it's glory!

I know we have a couple of newbies this year, so rules are pretty simple, read books, if you think it fits a square, record it and mark that square off, you can just cross off the squares, or you can go a little fancy with it and add pictures of the book covers, see my 2020 masterpost for example. If you are having trouble filling some of the squares you are allowed two substitutions and two wild cards, substitutions are substituting one category for another, I'll post a substitution list below, but it is usually any category used in previous years, but not used this year, wild cards can be any book you want, including fanfiction, the fanfiction should be over 50,000 words and fanfiction can only be used once for a wild card square.
Substitution list:
*Title begins with first letter of your name
*Horror
*Humour
*Book that is part of a series
*Over 300 page book
*Under 100 page book
*Food/Cooking
*Dystopian
*Animal on the cover
*Book mentioned in another book
*Diverse reads
*Set in your state/country
*One word title
*Title is at Least Five Words Long
*Fairy Tale or Fairy Tale Retelling

For the Hobbies/Crafts, can I use the new knitting book I got for Christmas, if I look at all the pictures and make some of the patterns? Reading the instructions for 100 small knitting projects doesn't appeal!

Can Japanese manga count for the graphic novel? I never read English comics.

1) Are re-reads allowed?
2) When reading a series, would it be okay to use different books of it for different fills? (As in, obviously with books/graphic novels/what-have-you of the series you actually read in 2021)
3) Is it good enough if I assume that the female identifying writer is a woman / have never come across any evidence suggesting that they might not be?
Also... banned books. I'm pretty sure I heard of that before, but the lists I've found... wow.

I think it is fine to use more than one book from a series, as long as it fulfills the square.
We decided on the term female identifying author as kind of a compromise, we were going to just include female author, but we weren't sure if that term was inclusive enough. So anyways, if the author is a cis woman or a trans woman they count for this square.
Banned books are any books that have been banned at any point in historic or modern times, supposedly the American Library Association releases a list every year. Last year I read The Absolutely True Story of a Part-Time Indian, which is a young YA novel that been banned by a couple of school boards because in one chapter the main character talks about masturbation. I read it, that chapter was not a big deal, but we must protect the children (sighs dramatically).

Goood... that'll help. :D
Thanks. :)
Well at least the lists to seem to be inspiring. (And I've read several, so if I need to fall back on books I already read to complete this there's plenty I can pick from.)
