Computer issues saga continue, Goodbye old monitor, Hello massive upgrade

So, the night before last, my computer monitor decided it was a good day to die.  I guess I can't complain too much, it lasted roughly 12 years, but still, why does every computer related device decide that it is time to go to their demise during the pandemic?  When I can't just hop down to the store.  I ordered a new monitor, and picked it up via curbside pick up yesterday.  I picked a monitor that was on sale, there were two that were a similar price, one was 28 inches and the other was 32 inches, and was from a well known name brand, so I thought I might as well get the bigger model, a little extra bang for my buck, but I highly underestimated how large a 32 inch monitor is, the thing is huge!  It is probably meant for gamers, which I am definitely not, unless Among Us counts.  It is definitely going to take me some time to get used it, and I still have to figure out how to make some adjustments, it's like having a TV on my desk, but I'm sure it will be fun for watching movies.

Anyways, over roughly the last 2 years I have replaced every component of my desktop computer, printer, hard drive, monitor, and even speakers, so there is no excuses for anything else to breakdown any time in the near future (please computer gods, I'm begging you!).

Glitch, look away from the system!

I can't imagine using a 32 inch.

That sounds really annoying - although as far as watching movies on your computer goes a huge screen may well be fun, but otherwise... I wouldn't know what to do with it either.

*crosses fingers* Good luck with not needing more replacements for at least a decade. <3

Frankly, you'll be amazed how soon it'll become completely natural to you. I have two that size on my desk at work.

It will take some getting used to. Hope nothing else breaks!

Definitely feel you on the "everything breaking down now" thing - I swear in the last few months I have replaced my iPad, laptop and phone, and was given a new iPod for Christmas, because my old ones all started going downhill at around the same time.
