I just watched the Loki Season Finale, and Holy Freaking Moley! Just Wow! When you watch it please comment here, because I need people to scream about it with.
I really liked it! I liked that the big bad turned out not to be the purely evil villain that they were expecting. I liked Miss Minutes being creepy. I liked the Loki & Sylvie fight, and the Sylvie betrayal. I really liked the ending, Mobius not knowing Loki was so sad, but the way they left it opens up so many possibilities!
Although, I do understand that cliffhanger endings are not everyone's cup of tea. I also could have done without the Sylki kiss, but hey I get it, and it was really great for adding an extra punch to the betrayal. The other complaint I've seen floating around is that the pacing was a slow, and I will agree with that, the monologue went on for a little too long, and they were obviously setting up a lot for season 2.
I was reading somewhere that originally the season was supposed to be 12 episodes long, and they had to cut it down to 6 because of the pandemic, and that a lot of storylines got pushed over to season 2. I have no idea if any of that is true, or just rumors floating around the internet, but that could explain a few things.
The monologue really was too long. But kudos to them on the one-two punch of Sylvie betraying Loki and then it being the wrong Mobius. Break my heart, whydoncha?
Yep, that ending was a real one two punch. I'm wondering if this is a completely different Mobius in a different timeline, or if he has had his memories erased by the TVA, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I liked parts of it a lot. But I'm really disappointed we got a freaking "to be continued".
