Sci-Fi/Fantasy Prompt Meme

For day 15 of the

snowflake_challenge we were asked to create a challenge, so I thought it might be nice to do a prompt meme.

Rules:

All fandoms welcome, if your requested fandom is not in a sci-fi or fantasy genre, please put them into a sci-fi/fantasy setting.

One prompt per comment.

Prompt comment subject lines should follow the format "Fandom, Character(s)/Ship, short description of prompt", for example "The 100, Abby/Raven, Something Goes Wrong at Arkadia"

I'll start us off with the example prompt

Doesn't have to be Delenn teaching Susan Minbari, could be Russian or Yiddish.

Riker stifled a yawn, the droning voice of the lecturer was not keeping his attention. It had been three long days of retraining in basic procedures for their senior officers, as well as the officers of several other ships. At least he was sitting back several rows, hidden from the view of the instructor, unlike Captain Picard who was near the front row. When the Captain glanced back at him Riker wiggled his eyebrows, Picard mouth twitched, trying not to smile. After that, every time Picard looked over at him, Riker would make a face, the faces growing more and more ridiculous each time, Picard covered his mouth with his hand, suppressing his laughter.

“Commander Riker, what are you doing?” whispered Data, Riker had forgotten about Data sitting to his right.

“Ahem, nothing.” Riker replied, quickly returning his face to a neutral expression.

“If you are trying to get the Captain's attention it might be more efficient just to go over and speak to him.”

“No, no, everything's fine. Um, we better pay attention, they are going over shuttlebay procedures.” Picard, who had witnessed the exchange, simply smiled before returning his focus to the front of the room.

I've done a few of these and I've never seen anyone post anything problematic without a tag, but if you aren't comfortable I completely understand.

Yeah, I'm a firm believer in ratings and warnings. It's just kindness to others, you know? But it's still cool!

Focus on whatever characters suits your fancy

I kind of like the idea of Yennifer and Jaskier "sharing" Geralt (and all the bickering Geralt would have to suffer through), but I'm open to these two just sharing food or something, too. :)
