Supernatural Tie-In Novels

A couple of days ago I discovered that there are tie-in novels for the Supernatural TV series, I guess I should have realized sooner, given the show's popularity, but it had just never occurred to me before. So, I looked them up, from the summaries it sounds like they are all monster of the week stories, which is understandable considering they have to fit within established canon. Surprisingly, my library had a few of the books in their e-library selection, so I decided to check one of them out. I read Supernatural: Cold Fire, and it was solid read, very action and plot focused, not a lot of character development, but that makes sense because it takes place within season 10. The monsters were interesting, not something we've seen on show before. There was a little Mark of Cain angst, but not a whole lot. Overall, I'd say it was an fun read, and I'm interested to try out some of the others, each being by different authors.

Mythmaker by Waggoner, Children of Anubis by Tim Waggoner, One Year Gone by Rebecca Dessertine, and Nevermore by Keith R.A. DeCandido are all really good.

I've read most of them and enjoyed them all.
