Snowflake Challenge Day 13

In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.

General goals:
Eat more fruits and vegetables
Get out of the house more - this is hard because I don't have much money, but I am determined to look up free or low cost events in my area
Write more original fiction
Complete the LJ Book Bingo - thus encouraging myself to try reading genres and authors I normally wouldn't read

Fannish goals:
Preparing myself for the end of Game of Thrones - this one is hard, it is ending this year and I know it is not going to be a happy ending, many of my favorite characters may die, so letting go is going to be a process.  This was the first fandom in which I shared my fanworks, and the first fandom in which I became part of an online community.  I know that fandoms still flourish after the end of a series, but I am going to miss the fan theories and speculation, plus I have never been active in a fandom when a series ends so I don't know what to expect.

Ugh, the ending of GoT is going to be terrible! I'm not even sure what to hope for?

It's good to hear of the plan to get out and expand the horizons - libraries have lots of no cost stuff to do. I hear you on the fruits and veggies! I'm not too keen on fruits and like veggies better, so good luck.

When a show ends, it sure is a sobering process because we've spent hours with the characters and settings; it leaves a warm glow, though. I'm glad you found fannish fulfillment in the program by viewing and making fanworks.
