Plans for Taking a Break from SPN Fandom.

I think once Supernatural is over I'm going to take a break from SPN fandom. I dove into the fandom this year with a passion, mostly because I was bored in self isolation. If my numbers are correct I made 8 art pieces for big bangs, and 6 of them were for SPN, plus a few other pieces for exchanges and fests. I participated in several fic exchanges, 7 of which were SPN related. Plus, I modded, and created several pieces of fic and art for, Samwena Week.

I do have a couple of SPN related X-Mas exchanges I have already signed up for, one story is already done and the other one I still need to write. I'm also signed up as an artist for a couple of upcoming SPN big bangs. I'm going to try and make a promise to myself to not sign up for anything else SPN related for awhile, if I can help myself.

So, are you just not going to create? Or not read fic or anything at all?
And I guess that means no Samwena Week next year?

Oh I see! That makes sense. Challenge Burnout. I was confused, thinking you were done with all of it.
I'm glad you're not leaving everything. We can't lose anymore Samwena or Sastiel fans, lol, there are so few! It'll probably be nice just to enjoy your ships and other people's work without that pressure.

It's good and normal to take breaks from fandoms!

Oh, that is some concentrated Supernatural right there. XD I think a break afterwards is understandable!

Oh, I understand entirely, I have five fics due this month for different SPN challenges, I love writing them but the deadlines do make it tough sometimes especially when real life gets in the way. Sometimes you just have to take a break.
