Challenge #14

In your own space, remix an existing work into a new media, and/or rec three or more remixes that do the same.

I haven't really ever remixed anything, I have created cover art or moodboards for fic, but that is usually for a challenge or exchange. So, I decided to make a rec list.

Fanworks created based on my fanworks:
*This Spones Vid was created based on a song choice from my Spones fanmix (Star Trek TOS)
*This podfic was made of my fic The Golden Head of Captain McCoy (Relic Hunter)
*This wonderful Jorlessi fic, A Midwinter’s Night Dream of Bear Island, incorporates my ficlet, I'll Find You, as a scene in it (Game of Thrones)

Fanworks created based on other fanworks:
*This stunning piece of Thorki art was inspired by the fic storm chaser (MCU)
*This amazing piece of Sastiel Art was created based on the fic Breathe, Hope (SPN)

last outpost has a fanlore page, holy cow. i bound it into a book about a million (read: ten) years ago. (i used to make books.) and how cool that you got fanworks from your fic! i love when that happens.

Oh wow, that book looks awesome. And, it is always a wonderful surprise when someone likes your fic enough to make a fanwork for it.

Thank you. The vid was a lovely surprise, when the creator posted it to tumblr they said they were inspired by a playlist, and when I followed the link it lead back to my own playlist, I about squeed so hard.
