Sunshine Challenge Day 4
Prompt 4: The Furies
I was having a hard time thinking of fandom related stuff for today's prompt, so I thought I would do something a little different, and make a short list of song recs by women artists:
We start with probably the most famous artist on the list, Halsey, this is probably my favourite song of hers, I made a short fanvid to it a few years ago. If you want something a little more badass check out her song Nightmare
Ingrid Michaelson is another great, and well known, artist. I wasn't sure which one of her songs to rec, but decided on this one, but the rest of her catalogue is pretty damn good.
If you watched the intro of episode 3 of Loki then you probably heard this song, Demons by Hayley Kiyoko, afterwards I had to look up the entire song, and I had it playing on repeat, it's extremely catchy. (Note: song contains profanity)
Outside of Canada I don't know how well Jill Barber is known, her music ranges from jazz to pop, she also sings in french. Although she did have a song featured on Orange is the New Black so she may be better known than I think.
This is Meghan Patrick, again I don't how well she is known outside Canada, but she deserves more fans. I had a hard time choosing between this one and The Bad Guy. I was also lucky enough to see her perform live just before the pandemic began and everything got shutdown, and this song was her big closing number.

I'm actually slightly familiar with Jill Barber and love "Mischievous Moon." I think of her as very much jazz.
