Okay I have no idea what to do for this one, I've been interacting with people for the entire snowflake challenge, commenting on posts, etc. I also joined a couple friending memes lately, the 3 Sentence Ficathon Friending Meme, and that other one that has been floating around, the DW Circle one (unfortunately I don't have the link for that one handy).



So anyways, if anyone wants to leave a comment here telling me something nifty, or reccing a movie, TV show, podcast, etc, you've enjoyed, or anything else, that would be cool.

I'm also counting snowflake comments as doing this challenge, though I've very much lost track of who I haven't talked to before. I'm maybe going to make a mini challenge of "comment on a fic with no comments," once I've had more coffee.

Hmmm. I just started getting into podcasts so don't have much to rec, I mean FOGO: Fear of Going Outside is a great one if you're hesitant about going camping (or like hearing about others overcome their fear). Smartless and Armchair Expert is good if you like celebrates talking to each other (I didn't think I would, but I sort of do). The West Wing Weekly or Fake Doctors/Real Friends if you like the show The West Wing or Scrubs...

What podcasts are YOU listening to?

Thank you for the podcast recs. I listen to too many, but they are getting me through the pandemic. My true crime ones are Left Podcast on the Left and My Favorite Murder. I also listen to Behind the Bastards, but that one can be rage inducing sometimes, because they talk the absolute worst people in history. I love You're Wrong About and Maintenance Phase which are about debunking stories. On a lighter note I listen to Delta Flyers, which is a Star Trek Voyager rewatch podcast featuring two of the actors from the show.

At least I wasn't the only one who was initially unsure of what to do. I feel like I've done the exact same things, in terms of commenting, friending memes and participating in 3SF so I am going to selfishly say that it all counts as fulfilling the challenge. :D

100fandoms, which is a challenge table based comm where the goal is to write for 100 different fandoms, also has a friending meme.

I've been telling people a bit about Twenty Thousand Hertz, a podcast about sound and music design that showcases both how iconic sounds came to be and the technology and people that bring them into existence. Plus, there's a Mystery Sound to guess every episode (that isn't about guessing Mystery Sounds).

For a podcast rec, I started listening to In the Stacks and I think it's a good resource for nonfiction books. I feel like I end up wanting to read most of the books they do episodes about.
