Challenge #9

In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, time you spent in the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well.

2023 was busy with some real life stuff, but here are some fannish related goals I achieved and I am proud of:

1. I wrote over 30,000 words (if you want to know about my writing stats and what my top performing fics where last year check out this post)
2. I joined a new fandom! Our Flag Means Death! (I've had my old faithfuls like SPN, Star Trek, and Good Omens for a few years, I've been dipping my toe into other things for awhile now, but it is so nice to be really invested in a fandom again)
3. I applied for and got the position of Social Media volunteer with Fanlore!
4. I participated in 13 exchanges, 3 auctions, 6 Big Bangs (as an artist), 2 comment bingos, a couple of fests, and one kink meme!
5. I completed two vids this year! Vid 1 - Rowena SPN, Vid 2 - McSpirk Star Trek (One of which I did in three days! Like who am I? It usually takes me forever to complete a vid)
6. I completed my 100 Fandoms Icons table!
7. I completed my Book Bingo!
8. I moderated fandomtrees successfully for the third year in a row!

Update: the winner of my poll from my last Snowflake post is Han/Luke!  They won by a slim margin over the Star Trek ships.  Thanks to everyone who voted, and keep an eye out for that Fanlore Ship Sunday post at some point in the future.
