Prompt 1: Hades

The first day's prompt is Hades. so I have taken this as an opportunity to rec some stuff related to some of my favourite demon or hell adjacent characters.

Summary: When it came down to it, Aziraphale had always loved Crowley. He had taken comfort in the fact that he is an angel and is supposed to love all of Her creations. The thought that he could love Crowley in a more specific way was something he had considered before but had kept in the far reaches of his mind like a shameful secret. As the thought began to break free, the feeling of love overwhelmed him in a not dissimilar way to the flames overwhelming the church. He tried not to consider the meaning of a church of the Lord burning to ash before his eyes as he realised that he is in love with a demon .
Aziraphale and Crowley steal a night in the darkness hoping that they will remain unseen together in the blackout.
Reccer's Note: This fic ponders what if Aziraphale and Crowley had gotten together after the 1941 bombing? The authors call this porn with feelings, the sex is very well written, and the authors do an amazing job of conveying what it is like for these characters to be sharing these intimate moments in almost complete darkness. However, what really sells this fic is the feelings! There is self doubt, and hesitation, and the two of them are so tender and caring with each other, and I loved the ending.

The demons gathered in tiny clusters, they did not easily trust their former leaders, or each other, however in the distance a small group was forming around Lucifer, Crowley thought it was best to avoid that lot. No, in his opinion they were all barking up the wrong trees, what he needed was someone with a little more ompf.
Crowley wakes up in The Empty.
Reccer's Note: Wrote this one recently for the SPN Spring Exchange. Crowley wakes up in The Empty, after Jack's big boom, and this somehow leads to him playing cards with two incarnations of death and an angel.

Midlife Magic

A middle aged Sam contacts Rowena and asks her to help him learn more complicated magic.
Reccer's Note: I wrote this one before the series finale, so I pictured the ending differently, but this is an older post-canon Sam seeking out our Queen of Hell to improve his magical skills.
