Prompt 7: Sunshine Jasper
A stone with a banded appearance, Sunshine Jasper is often used to keep negative energies at bay and keep your outlook positive so you can realize your dreams. It's also called Bumblebee Jasper and is often a warm sunshine yellow. Interestingly, it's an agate and not a jasper as the name implies. It is a new stone, first discovered in an Indonesian volcano in the 1990's. As it has not yet been found anywhere else in the world, the consensus is that this rare stone helps to attempt the impossible.

Since this is the last day I just thought I might share some communities or challenges that I have enjoyed, some of these are on dreamwidth and some on tumblr.

This has been a rather laid back sunshine challenge this year, although I did have trouble coming up with things to post some days, I mostly just posted randomness, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Prompt 4: Kyanite
Kyanite typically ranges from light to dark blue (which gives it its name, from the Greek kyanos) and usually appears in sprays of bladed crystals. It is usually associated with calming, grounding energy, and sometimes linked to clarity and logic as well. It's a lesser-known gemstone that you won't often see in jewelry stores, but can be a beautiful, steadying presence among flashier stones.

I saw that others have been reccing chill and beautiful music for this prompt, so I'm going to follow the trend. First choice is my man Scott Helman, who I discovered earlier this year, and I wish he got more recognition in the pop music world. This one is one of my faves:



Second, is Oh Wonder, which have a great catalogue of songs, and I almost always include them on all my playlists. Choosing one song of theirs was hard, but I went for this one, which is also on my Spones playlist:



Next is Sleeping At Last, the king of songs that are subtle but powerful, Saturn is probably my absolute fave, but I also love this song, and still haven't found the prefect fandom playlist for it yet:



Last, but certainly not least, I love the acoustic version of this song, it's stunning, but also makes you think.  It is also on my Sam Winchester playlist:

I have seen this going around where you are supposed to share things you love this month, so I thought I'd share this new music artist I discovered this week, his name is Scott Helman and he makes some great poppy songs. I think I had heard his song Hang Ups on the radio awhile back, that seems to have been the most successful song he has released, but then I found out he has a whole back catalogue of fun songs, which I have been listening to. If you're interested I will link a few of his vids below:
