A few times through the years I have done the annual Reddit Secret Santa, it works like most secret santas, except you don't actually know the person you are buying a gift for, you get a sign-up letter where they tell you about things they like, then you purchase a gift and mail it to them.  The suggested minimum is $20, so usually you get a nice book, maybe a calendar, or something like that, but this year I got the most amazing Santa I have ever had!

It started out this morning when my brother found a package that had been left on the front veranda, we think last evening, it contained a bound trilogy of fantasy books, so I went online and thanked my gifter right away, quite pleased with my gift, but that was just the beginning! As the day went on I received three more packages!  I got two Supernatural books, The Men of Letters Bestiary and Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting, both of which look amazing.  I also got a Star Trek daily calendar, a poster of the Enterprise, a tiny music box that plays the Game of Thrones theme song, and a deck of cool playing cards!

I have never had such an amazing Santa, and this is the best experience I've ever had with this exchange.  I am floored, it was really a blessed surprise in this difficult year.  Anyways, if you're curious you can see pictures of everything I received in the thank you post, plus see my effusive updates.
